She came to me in a restless fight
Her mortal skin was so pale and thin
Her silver veins like contrails in the sky

She came to me after years of mourn
Tongue untangled didn’t know what was wrong
Her steps made the lightbulb flicker like a candle
Spine so straight, not a hair was mangled

She came to me and stopped the clock in the kitchen
Craving flesh, claimed her stomach was itching
Her once blue eyes was so dark and disfigured
Her looming laugh, was tearing at the plaster

She came to me, my Euridice
Came back to me, How could this be?
Here I lie in my misery rags
As my boot lost grip from the blood on the tracks


This was all I asked for
A sign of relief
This was all I prayed for
An end to my grief

She came to hit me with my virtues and vice
Her ten feet poem was about to catch fire
As my tea-light brain embellished the building

She screamed at me like the son of Tantalus
The roar fought the flame as it was breaching my ballast
My scars aligned and out erupted the traumas
Flash into the night with the queen of the tides
